i have lost the motility in my esophagus. food goes down, but thick mucus comes up & never stops it comes up nite & day. this has been going on for 3 years & i have no energy & have lost 40 lbs. i also have ehlers-danlos syndrome. i am on 80 mg. of priolsec & the acid is still burning my throat & mouth.i am going to mayo clinic in mn.on july23 to see what they can do. has anyone had this problem? the drs. here think this is all in my head. 7 of them gave me dry up pills & they made it worse as i couldn't swallow & my voice was reduced to a croak. the pills all had different names & when i looked them up on the internet they were all the same.av, slc.ut
