The Hydro helped me. However, as with any disease I guess- I am getting worse over time. Not only to I have frequent bathroom trips day and night but I recently have started having pain in my uthera. sp? It is not an infection as I thought but just another symptom of the disease. I find the bladder instillations very helpful after a couple days. I get a DMSO cocktail. That is steriods and dmso and a blood thinner. My sediment rate goes down from 60 to around the 20s after I get these treatments. Good luck! Oh the catheter is too painful for me so they give me the drup "Versed" which helps me entirely!
