Lyme Disease

Daniel W.

Message 6 of 8 Previous Next

I went into the Persian Gulf immediately after the war while working for the United Nations. There was no mention of chemical, biological, or radio active components being used as war machinery. I began getting sicker and sicker following my return. After a few years I heard about "Gulf War Syndrome". It is a debilitating disease. I have had to fight doctors for years to find out what was wrong with me. They too thought I had Lyme disease because the symptoms of Lyme disease and the Gulf war Syndrome are nearly identical. But, like you, I tested negative for Lyme disease. Just recently I learned that Gulf War Illness is filtering into the general population of the United States disguised as Lyme Disease. The biological components used during the war are carried to this country by the trade winds. It is also transmitted through intercourse and saliva. Even though you may not know of anyone who went to the Gulf, there is a good possibility that you have this dreaded terminal disease. There is no known test for it so you have to rely on the symptoms, and there is no known cure. Please may I suggest that you get on the internet and start studying about Gulf War Illness (Syndrome) for yourself.
