Kelly, I was diagnosed with IC in 1993. Im 44 yrs. old. I am taking Elmiron. It took about 3 months to tell a difference. It has been a life saver for me. My main problem was burning and pressure down there. I dont have a frequency problem. But the Elmiron helped with the burning. I still have times when I ache all over and have no energy but Im alot better. I have been on Elmiron for about 3 yrs now. When I first started taking it, I was on 3 a day but now I only take 1.
