Kelly, kara again. I just figured my computer out so this is so helpful, the forum. Do you have pain when sitting, anyone else. My pain is incredible and nothing helps in this position. Also, according to the rest of you, maybe I need to take the Elmiron longer, I tried 4 mths. I've done a bladder distension under anesthesia, DMSO intravesical instillations and several meds. Tylenol 3 helps when my pain is raging or when I have to sit for long periods. Get ahold of Dr. John Sarno's book, The Body Mind Prescription. It talks about mind body issues. It doesn't address IC specifically but it has helped me get rid of a 15 year headache condition. I'm hoping I can be successful with his metods with IC and if not then I can ease my pain a little. This disorder absolutely sucks but stress management will help cope.
