I too have been diagnosed with DVT subclavian. I woke up one day with my right arm swollen, which turned out to be a blood clot. I will be having my 1st rib removed in two weeks to prevent further clots. What kind of surgery did you have? I only had swelling of the right arm with no pain. Since, I have been on blood thinners and feel fine. It is an invisible problem for me, my surgeon feels this rib removal is necessary to resolve the problem. I live in California.
