I live in England and I too have sub-clavian and jugular DVTs. The pain is excruciating! Clots (since 13 Oct 2000) have been increasing. Cause of mine is unknown at present - but could be due to pacemaker wire. I tried finding a doctor on the internet here; look up www.vascularsurgeon.co.uk I am now seeing an excellent vascular surgeon in Cambridge, England (as a private patient - with no insurance!)out of sheer desparation.
