Hello, if I am not mistaken that is what Endometriosis is. It is where the lining of your uterus attaches itself to other parts of your body.I just had a Laproscopy to have some endometrial tissue removed from around my intestines, and colon. Some of the main symptoms I personally suffered from were- lower back pain, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, heavy periods with clots of blood, and severe cramps. I am 23 and for years I have had abnormal paps, but they were non cancerous cells. Over the years things got worse. I started having reoccurant bladder and yeast infections. I had also had an ovarian cyst burst in me when I was about 17. Well on Jan 1 2000 I hadanother one burst. It took the doctors almost a month to get me in for an ultrasound. By then I had passed all the tissue. Well by this point I have had it. I told my OB at the time I wanted a Laproscopy done. He refused to do it. He said I was too young. One of my best friend shas had this for years. She talked me in to seeing another OB. It tookme a month to get in to see her. Within another month she had me in for surgery. She removed alot of endometrial tissue from my colon and intestines. She also burst another large cyst. I am still having some bleeding problems but the overall pain I did have is much less!
