My son was born with a mild heart murmur. (A small hole in the heart which the doctor can hear with a stethascope (sp?)). When he had to have surgery, we went to a cardiologist and there are several different ways that the murmur can be identified. Most heart murmurs are small and cause little problems. Talk to a cardiologist, they will help you feel better about your wife.
