My 11 yr old daughter had a very large ovarian cyst. Dr told her it was 22 cm and 11 lbs. I have never had a cyst so I was unaware of what my daughter was going thru. She had pain come and go so I have never thought to have it checked out. I want mothers to know if your daughter is having any abdominal pains, check it out with your dr because surgery can be prevented, I know now. Not after admitting my daughter in hospital emergency room and when dr had determined she had a cyst, my daughter had surgery the same day. She is at home recovering.
