One year ago I had ERCP, a surgery done through the mouth to correct problems with the pancreus and other areas. They had to rebuild my bile ducts from the pancreus. The Drs told me never to eat any meats that are preserved with chemicals. They told me that hotdogs and such cause many problems with the pancreus galbladder and liver. I now eat a low fat , low carb, low meat diet. It isn't fun but when I slip and eat wrong, my pancreus lets me know. Avoid anything vaccum packed. The chemicals will make the pain worse and make you go through the surgery I did. Very painful.
