Hi. I was diagnosed with chronic idiopathic pancreatitis 4 years ago and had never heard of any connection with sulpha allergies until I got on this website. I, too, am allergic to sulpha based drugs and have had some reactions to foods containing sulphites. My doctor has never made me aware of this connection. Did you find out anything. I have changed my diet and take several supplements along with digestive enzymes. Otherwise it's just pain management when there is a flair up. Keep me posted on your findings.
