I know your frustrations all to well. My narcolepsy is so severe I am treated for every symptom related to the disorder. Diet and exercise absolutely make a difference. However to maintain a close to normal lifestyle it is necessary for me to be under a physicians care. I tried several different medications befor I found what worked best for me. Yes, symptoms definately fluctuate in severity for me. Sometimes with out being triggered by anything particular but always during times of emotional stress. I could go on and on, Iwas diagnoed in 1998 and this is the first time I've responded or shared my personal experiences with narcolepsy. I wish you the best in finding a treatment that works for you!
