Has anyone had radical surgery or laser treatment (or any other long term solution)for this complaint, who is willing to talk to me about the after effects of their treatment? Are there any recurrences, if treated for axilliary HS, do the lesions then start in the groin? How long have you had HS? Any information please. I have had this condition for 26 years, I am now 53 and am concerned that with progressing age and the continuous onslaught to my system, that antibiotics may not be enough to keep the disease at bay. I have some arthritis, but other than that I am well. I am now looking for permanent solutions.
