I too, have a girl with spina bifida, she is sixteen years old. First it depends on the severity of the spina bifida, if its high and low, on the spine , like my daughter, you have a long way to go, after many shunt replacements, a shunt infection and very rude doctors, she finally has some good doctors. She now has seizures.
