I understand that you didn't get screened. I'm 14 and was only picked up by chance. I used to go swimming, partake in PE and obviously attend school where there was no screening. finally i got an allergic rash all over my body. My mother noticed the curve. Even the doctor in the hospital said that there was nothing wrong with my back. But thankfully my mother could see that there was. On my first doctors appointment ny curve was over 60. I was operated on 2 weeks later talk about lucky. My surgeon said that by now 12 months later i would be unable to stand up and possibley paralised
