I just got strep throat 3days ago. It's very common among my family. My doc said if i should get it 3 or more times in one yr, it means it's time to get the tonsils taken out. I don't know anything about whether the antibiotics are working or not, but you may need to start thinking about surgury! Apparently its also easier for kids to go through that kind of surgery, opposed to when we're adults...good luck.
