I have had FBD since I was 16, I am now 33. So far I have had about 1/4th of my right breast removed, and 1/3 of my left. My last mammogram showed calcifications in my lymph nodes. Not only am I eating a low fat diet and drinking no caffine, I also take all the vitamins suggested to me over the years. I'm tired of the constant discomfort. I told my doctor that I was tired of the pain and the constant fear of cancer, and that I would like to get the mastectomy (simple w/implants) he told me it was all in my head and all I need is an antidepressant/antianxiety med. I'll I want to know is when is enough. There are days I take off my bra and cry because of the pain.
