Sjogren's Syndrome and Chronic KStones.

I also have Sjogren's with kidney stones which were asymptomatic & found while checking out other things so I went three years without treatment & thus developed asteoporosis because what is happening is an acidotic system that is trying to alkaline itself by taking calcium from the bones which leaves deposits in the kidneys. If this is your situation too you need citrate. I was started on calcium citrate but this was not effective & so my Dr. at Mayo switched me to potasium citrate & after several increases in dose now have finally reversed the process. See a nephrologist that knows you have Sjogren's, apparently it is not uncommon! I would still like to know more about this but I am finding that it is hard to research this subject. Let me know what you find out.
