I was just diagnosed with meniere's two weeks ago. I have the same symptoms as all of you except no ringing in my ears (yet) I have partial hearing loss in one ear. That seem to happen approx. 6 months prior to my first spinning spell. I don't have them everyday (yet) a month may go by and then again I may have a spell a couple times a week. My question to any of you is what tests did you go through for your doctor to give you this diagnose? My doctor did an MRI, it showed normal so he said he believes is Meniere's disease, said the medication is worse than the disease and said I would have to live with it. He said he has had it for 20 years! I'm just not sure I really do have it and I have now made an appointment with a new doctor to get his opinion. Please tell me how you all were diagnosed.
