I have had the ringing in my ears for almost 10 years now. Over the past 3 years, I have begun having those horrible dizzy spells which last for several hours. All the doctors say is "you have vertigo". No Dah! Finally, I know what I have. I read all the messages from fellow suffers and how you are electing to lose your hearing in the affected ear. I am the same place. During all those years with the DAMN ringing, I have often told my husband that I wish I could cut my ear off. Could someone please tell me about this procedure? I too am starting to be afraid to drive esp. in places where there is shade then sun in rapid succession. I really makes me so dizzy. Thank you all for being out there. I have felt so alone even thought my husband tries to understand. Please let me hear from you.
