I also have this syndrome. It has been passed through my family lines for many generations. My uncle is deaf in both ears, my aunt and cousin both have blue/green eyes, and i have one blue eye and one brown eye. Our family is perfect the way that we are, so don't worry about any unnecessary side effects.
