To Whom It May Concern, Both my husband and my son have Waardenbur Syndrome. My son is five years old and was diagnosed at two months old. Before that my husband had no idea that this was in his family. We are lucky. My husband is only deaf in one ear and my son has no hearing loss at all. He does have different colored eyes but other than that is perfectly normal. Exceptional even! I was pretty upset when the diagnosis was made but want to reassure parents who have children with this syndrome that they can lead perfectly normal lives. He is a beautiful smart loving child.
