Dear Cheryl, My daughter has had alopecia areata since she was l6, she is now l9 years old and is still affected with it. She has had everything from very few bald spots to total hair loss. When she lost all of her hair it did regrow. Like you, every day I pray that it will just go away. We too were very anxious when she graduated last year. Thankfully, she had most of her hair, it was just very thin, and a good hairdresser who gave her a lovely hair style. I know what you are going through. This is like a nightmare. Everyday I find myself staring at her hair to see if there are any new bald spots. She too has had the injections in her scalp. This is breaking my heart to see her like this.jan
