My daughter was diagnosed with Kawasaki Disease .At first they thuoght it was Rheumatic Fever . They treated her with IVIG( human gammma globbulin ).Her fever went down within 24 hrs and she hasnt had one scince.Does he know or did he ever have a swollen lymphnode?Usually KD is seen only in small children usually under 13. But i was diagnosed at 10 yrs old .They do not know much about KD.They tould me it was not genetic but apparantly it is because my daughter got it at 10 months.She is now 15 months and thriving .good luck.
