Hi All...I had tonsils out yesterday, 4/1/05. Today, the pain got worse but once I closed myself up in a room with a humidifier, and lots of water, I feel much better. I hope the pain does not get worse as the Roxicet is not lasting 6 hours...barely 4.5 hours. I am glad I had the procedure though...the thought of not having tonsilitis and strep throat over and over, is very appealing to me. I'm ready to feel normal energy -- or at least increased energy! :-) I also received calls from 2 nurses from the hospital and my surgeon today which was a welcomed experience. At least they are checking on me. I'm not being left to my own devices in the dark. Good luck to all! I'll keep you posted on how I progress as the days go by!
