I just wanted to add my two cents... for what ever it's worth to you people. My Mom just got her circulation back after been told by her doctors that she needed to have her leg amputated. To give a brief map of her medical state she is a diabetic, heart problems, kidney problems, liver problems with cholesterol. needeless to say she also has circulation problems. They removed the heel back in December 2004, because her wound was not getting better due to the 90% obstruction she had from her knee down we had to take her back to the hospital, at first the doctor's said she needed a bypass surgery which quickly turned to amputation because they told us the bypass would not solve her problem since the blockage was so severe... Since I had no other choice, I opted for an alternative and I gave her the Angioprim for ten days straight and by day 9 I asked a different podiatrist to look at her and he told us she did not need the amputation, we also had the vascular specialist, who initially suggested the amputation, look at her and he said she no longer needed the bypass.
