My daughter also suffers from complex febrile seizures. She has only had two so far. The first one in December and the last on in January. She is 12 months old and this is all new to us. She had to be life flighted because her seizure lasted 35 minutes and she turned blue. She spent two days in ICU. The doctor put her on Diastat. She told me until we have to we did not want her on seizure medication because seizure medicine had nasty side effects. She told me to hope for few seizures that can be controlled with the Diastat because the longer we can go without the other medication the better for her. She labeled her with Complex Febrile seizures although she was not sure that was the case because the last seizure, the worst one, had no fever, and they could find nothing wrong with her. We are praying that it will go away. She did not seem to have a whole lot of hope in that. We have not had to use the Diastat yet. So I can not report on how well it works. I hope I never have to use it. I as interested to know does your daughter have alot of seizures? And, are they all accompanied by fever? Best of luck and God Bless!
