Hi, Almost a year ago, I was experiencing extreme itching as well. Specifically, around my eyelids. There were no bumps, rashes or bruising either. I went to my doctor, whose also a dermatologist, to find that I have a slight case of Eczema. Slight because my doctor thinks mine only occurs when the weather is hot and dry. He's actually right. He prescribe Elidel (a cream) for me to use when the itching occurs. It was a life saver. Check with your doctor to see if perhaps Eczema is what's causing your grief.
