Gabriela, take the pred. I have SJS stemming from lupus which caused autoimmune thyroid and liver disease. I take pred and plaquenil plus an antiinflammatory. You will need it. If you have a good doctor, he will monitor your prednisone. he will try to keep it at a minimum amount. Sometimes it will go up and down. If you eat correctly and healthy you should not have any trouble with prednisone. Keep me informed. Thanks, and God Bless.
