I was told about the age of 7 I had a heart murmor. The doctor told me it would probally go away. I never really noticed it much untill recently. I am a 22 year old female. I notice my heart is skiping beats quite offten, and my latest episode has been going on for about 24 hours. I don't have a doctor yet. I just moved From Seattle to Texas. My father has a history of heart Problems, and now I fear I will be the same. I guess my question is..what should I do??. Should I go to the e.r? I need to get to a doctor I am looking for one. I also have high blood pressure. I just don't want to have a heart attack. Is this normal to have chest pain and my heart skipping a beat about every 5 to 15 seconds? And for this long? 24 hours? I have never had it for this long...Please give e some advise. Thanks in advance
