Hi, I vomited the same day (had one at 24yrs old) and it did feel weird, I have to admit. But the nurse told me that you have to get the blood out of your stomach that trickled down your throat from the tonsils being removed, as it is an open wound and it needs to heal just like with any cut it will bleed and it has to go somewhere. So don't worry too much, if it does happen, it shouldn't last very long, I didn't have the problem the next day after surgery.
