I had back surgery at 33. I went through 3 injections spaced at 3 week intervals. They did not work, but I have heard of peope that had success. I waited 6 months after my injury before I had the surgery (discectomy/laminectomy). I wished I would have done the surgery sooner instead of monkeying around with other things. The physical therapy helped a lot. I swam a lot prior to surgery so I could go into it as strong as possible. When I decided to go with the surgery, I could not walk 100 feet without needing to lay down to relieve the pain. Good Luck. Jim
