If you haven't already, PLEASE go to a Physician who specializes in the Retina. A procedure can be done where they attach a "buckle" to the back of the eyeball where the retina is located. My father had this done on an emergency basis, and it saved his eyesight! It has been five years now and no problems whatsoever. It is an outpatient procedure with some pain, but not too bad. It is worth it to be able to see.
