I too had frequent urinary tract infections, coming on suddenly, with severe pain. After several infections, and many rounds of antibiotics, a Dr. prescribed a female hormone therapy. It is in the form of a insertable tablet, and called Vagi-Fem. It increases the estrogen level in the vaginal area. Since I began this, I have had no more infections! What a relief! I had tried everything!It is certainly worth asking about.
