5 months ago my mother was diagnosed with stomach cancer. The doctors are unable to operate because there is no visible tumor, just lots of small cancer cells that have filled her stomach cavity. She is on 5-fu chemo treatment weekly (she couldn't handle the stronger chemo). We also have her on Essiac Tea (3x per day). She has a really great appetite, although she is weak from her treatments. She's been hospitalized 3x because of low immune, infection and phneumonia. She has also been dealing with ascites. Now she has blood clots in her leg which has caused her to not be able to walk. I'm wondering if anyone else has ever been through this type of stomach cancer and wondering if anyone has ever used the Essiac Tea. I'm convinced that this is helping her with her great appetite.
