hi aplastic...here is our experiance,my husband was diog.wt .AA in 1996 at age 58 bone marrow transplant was our only option ,becouse he was over the age 55 ,the cut off age . we had to have it done at the only place that would take us, the fred hutchinson cancer research center in seattle wa. that was 7 yrs ago. he is now 65 and doing well,he is a truck driver ,and we are prepairing to retire soon we live in chicago. hope this has helped, good luck ,god bless . barb.
