Hi, I just had surgery on June 18th. I had a cone procedure to remove most of my cervix for severe dysplasia. It is directly linked to HPV. My cone biopsy procedure came back showing that all margins were clear. Do as your doctor said as it can progress in severity. Mine was the level right before cervical cancer. Some classified mine as "carcinoma in situ" which is the same thing as "cancer in waiting". If you feel like you need a 2nd opinion please get one. My last years pap was normal and this years showed severe dysplasia, so as you can see it can progress quickly.
