hello, Ring worm is very contagious and it can spread. You have to wash everything, quilts, bathrobs, sheets, anything that is in contact with the area you skin touchs an item. When you wash your cloths it is best to us a bleach or color safe bleach so your cloths get sanitized. My son caught ring worm from a kid at school, he had it on his arm. We used an antifungle cream and it worked. The redness got lighter each day. I kept it covered with a bandage during the day so it won't spread or give it to someone else. All you have to do is touch the sore, the germ is on your hand and then if you touch your face, you just spread ringworm on to you face. It's really important to wash your hands after you touch the area. Good Luck!!! Karen W.
