I too have a ganglion cyst on my wrist, but mine is underneath. I have never had it drained. It gets bigger and then smaller over the past 4 - 5 years. It used to hurt alot, but now I have a very active dog of 17 months that pulls on his leash all the time. I put the leash around that wrist and he pulls hard and stretches out my wrist. In the past 16 months my ganglion cyst has been shrinking in size and does not hurt nearly as much. You might want to try some type of stretching exercise that will pull on the area where your cyst is. I thank God for my little dogs help in getting rid of that pain.
