Get off the Tetracycline. Your doc is experimenting!!!!! Not unusual.....however, Tetracycline is one of the most toxic meds out there....and while it won't do anything for your face...it can drill holes in your kidneys & liver! I would really recommend a holistic doctor who will evaluate the whole body...review what your body is "LACKING" and recommend an internal cleanse to get your whole body back into a position of being able to correct the real reason for the abnormalites.
