Hello, My name is Diane Cobb. The reason I am writing is to sympathise with you and your condition of RSD. I am not in the medical field but dealing with it first name I need to tell you all I know. I believe the Fibro and RSD differ in this way. RSD affects the sympathetic nerves in the effected area. My Dad has RSD, in his legs from the knee down, It is a spreading disease and surgery and deep needles such as this pump affect your disease. We found the renoun specialist to this disease in Vero Beach, Florida. If you have searched the web under RSD you would have seen his name. God and this doctor have helped my Dad. He is the best with the condition. His name is H. Hooshmand, I have all this information if you would like it. i would suggest? again I am not a doctor but, I suggest DO NOT HAVE THE PUMP until you are assessed by this doctor.....I have learned so much about this condition in the past years. So many things including some generic medications..etc really make this worse..My heart goes out to you. Please consider what we have said. Again this is a bad disease. proceed with caution.
