Far be it from me to tell your daughter what is best. I am 58 and was told many years ago that I also have fibrocystic breast disease. In my 20s I had a non- cancerous tumor removed and I have no trouble since. I have one aunt that had breast cancer. It is very hard to do a self exam as there are so many lumps. It is very important that you become fimular with your own brest as to do a good exam. I have a check up every year and since the age of 40 i have a monagram yearly. I had a scare several years ago and it was nothing . They thought there was a change as I started taking HRT. But remeber that every case is different. I stress that. Everyone has to do what they can live with!!!!!!!!! Good Luck and God Bless
