Hi, I'm in my 40's and have had this condition since my early 20's. Having a double-mastectomy for this is like amputating your hand because you are prone to warts. Has your daughter considered the impact this may have should she have children and want to breast feed? I hope you can get her to reconsider. If there's a gynecologist going along with her on this idea, I'd strongly urge her to get another opinion. Best wishes
