I was diagnosed with sarcoidosis 2 yrs. ago. I started with swollen feet and ankles. I had lumps on both of my lower legs. My Dr. told me it is erythemia nodisom (nodisum). I'm not sure about the spelling. It also gets red and looks like a rash. My Dr. told me that it isn't caused by the sarcoid, but accompanies it often. I was told to stay off my feet and elevate them as much as possible. I still get them occasionally, but not as bad as when I was first diagnosed. I can relate to all our symptoms. The cough and fatigue are most irritating to me. I want to do things and my body won't let me. My Dr. is taking me slowly off prednisone and has replaced it with Celebrex ( which I can take for a long period of time) and methetrexate. I started feeling a lot better when he put me on the methetrexate. I got a lot of information off the internet. I hope you can find some relief. You are in my prayers.
