What to do?
I have a similar issue. I have been on the pill for over 15 years. I started having irregular bleeding and had an endometrial biopsy and a D&C. I was diagnosed w/ endometrial hyperplasia, and the lab results showed it to NOT be atypia. Two weeks, after the D&C, I had light bleeding for 12 days. Now it has been 4 weeks, and no bleeding. My doctor is recommending a partial hysterecomy and bladder suspension. Since I got the hyperplasia while on the pill, he believes hormone treatment would not be a successful option. I have scheduled the surgery, but would like to know that it is the best choice.
