Yes I had this at menopause time. At the time the MD said he wanted to do a hysterectomy but the fact that I was suffering through a nasty divorce gave him pause. He wasn't at all sure how I would be affected. So it was postponed. Since then I have had about 4 more D & C's. I a now 82 and never had the hysterectomy. My daughter had one. We are both doing well aand she is 61. Neither of us has cancer. Guess it's a matter of choice.
