83X8mm cyst...Without surgery...No. Some treatments may help to "temporarily" relieve the symptoms but it will ALWAYS be there and grow back. It will contrinue to grow larger until it one day ruptures...and this HURTS!!!!!!!!!!! If your wife has had the cyst for more than 3 months, or been in pain for more than 3 months, or any treatment such as Birth control pills for 3 months has failed to hlep at all...Than surgery is the ONLY option. BC Pills DO "sometimes" help for a short period of time but they will NOT get rid of the SACK that they cyst is contained it. Surgical removal of the cyst is the only thing that can do that. I hope this helps some. If you are looking for pain manegment I am sure she can find something to relieve her pain, BUT again, it will NOT get rid of the cyst!!!!! Good Luck!!!
