I am 37 yrs old and now at the present time have cellulitis of my left ankle bone. I have a condition called Reflex Symapthetic Dystrophy and I developed severe swelling over my left ankle bone a few weeks ago. It kind of looked like I had a bad sunburn with a lot of redness around the ankle bone and then my skin started peeling. I then developed these skin lesions that looked like pustlets and they were filled with water and not pus thank god. So this problem is lasting a long time.I have two orthopedic surgeons involved and they both disagree one says I defitnely have it and are now on antibiotics and the other dr is sending me to a dermotologist who I hope can come up with a correct diagoses. I am not a diabetic. I basically am healthy. I know cellulitis is painful. I had it many years ago and I was in the hospital for IV antibiotics but nothing seemed to work. So I never would go back for that type of treatment.
