Even if you had a hysterectomy with removal of your tubes and ovearies, you can still develop ovarian cancer. I am a R.N. in a pre admission department, and I often see women who have had hysters with removal of tubes and ovaries come back with ovarian cancer. Because all the ovarian tissue is not removed when the surgery is done.
